①The anti-static shielding bag should preferably be large enough to seal the entire product in it
The shielding bag should be sealed with a label or tape, or a zip-top shielding bag can be used to seal it. Placing ESD-sensitive electronic components in anti-static shielding bags is a good way to protect them from electrostatic discharge. But without a sealed anti-static shielding bag, it is impossible to provide complete anti-static protection!
②Eliminate the charge on the shielding bag
When receiving ESD sensitive components sealed in a shielding bag, be sure to place the closed shielding bag on an anti-static workbench before removing the product, this will help dissipate any charge that may accumulate on the surface of the shielding bag.
③Do not overuse shielding bags
If the shielding bag is not damaged in any way, it can basically be reused. However, if any damage, tears or excessive wrinkles are found on the shielding bag, such bags should be discarded.
④The shielding bag is not an ESD workbench
The anti-static shielding bag is only to prevent ESD sensitive products from being damaged by static electricity. If you are handling ESD sensitive products, use a properly grounded ESD workbench.
⑤ Do not use shielding bags to handle ESD sensitive products
Do not use a shielding bag as an "ESD Potholder" or "ESD Glove" to handle ESD sensitive products, as the shielding bag will not provide any ESD protection to the product.
